Texas Success Initiative

Students attending Texas public institutions of higher education must be in compliance with the Texas Success Initiative (TSI), a state-legislated program designed to improve students’ success in college. Texas law requires all college students to be assessed for readiness in mathematics, reading, and writing unless the student qualifies for an exemption. TSI regulations apply to all students who register for a college course except those who audit.
