Course Description

Developing Musical Skills in Young Pianists: Ideas from Music Learning Theory offers teachers practical pedagogy for the teaching of musical skills to young beginning piano students, with a special focus on the principles of Edwin Gordon.

This is a fully online course comprised of video and written materials from The Beginner Course: Establishing Strong Foundations for Young Pianists, a comprehensive course offered by the Frances Clark Center. This is is a self-guided micro-course. Quizzes will provide immediate feedback upon submission.
