Ability to recognize and employ contrast and affinity across visual, auditory, and temporal elements of cinema

Staging and Camera

Ability to place and move the characters, sets, props and camera (or point of view) for each shot in a sequence for maximum clarity and emotional impact, making meaningful choices based on perspective, space, shape, and motion

Ability to edit shots and basic audio together to form a cohesive whole that is clear and emotionally impactful
